Corporate Politicians: ‘ponguleti & Puvada Ajay Are Corporate Politicians’ | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: The outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist) on Tuesday described two senior leaders from erstwhile Khammam district — Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy from Congress and minister Puvada Ajay from BRS — as “corporate political leaders”.
In a letter, Maoist leader Azad, who is also the division committee member of Bhadradri Kothagudem-Alluri Sitharamaraju division, said that both these leaders are trying for one upmanship in the united Khammam district and are making moves to make sure their candidates, and not those who served the party, win the elections.
He also alleged that the Congress party has turned into a puppet in the hands of Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy in erstwhile Khammam district.
“Both these leaders are doing it to protect their business establishments and strengthen it by coming into power. For this, their respective parties are also supporting them at the cost of the general public,” the letter said.
The Maoist leader further said that both the ruling party and the opposition Congress are competing in announcing freebies and some of them are impractical. tnn

Why 3 BJP leaders must fight both INDIA and Modi-Shah
In the past, state leaders within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held significant power and influence. However, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s regime, these leaders have become marginalized and invisible. Raman Singh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Vasundhara Raje, who owe their positions to Atal Bihari Vajpayee or LK Advani, are now facing the challenge of securing their political future in upcoming state elections. Modi and his understudy Amit Shah are not willing to tolerate strong state leaders outside of Delhi. Singh, Chouhan, and Raje must rely on their own resources and skills without help from the central command.

The upcoming election in Telangana is expected to be a fierce battle, with the Congress hoping for a better performance than in the previous election. The BJP is also expected to make significant gains, and alliances with Jana Sena and AIMIM could impact the results.
